Darwins Air War 1942-1945 An Illustrated History
Published by the Aviation Historical Society, it includes many maps and photographs, some in colour. It is an excellent reference book on the air war over North Australia during World War II.
The Battle of Australia
This video gives a graphic insight into the war against the Japanese in North Australia in World War II. It contains video footage from the first air raid on Darwin and original footage from Japanese archives.
B-52 Bomber
This video presents the story of the Centre’s massive B-52 bomber and contains footage of the bomber arriving in Darwin and footage of B-52 operations in Vietnam.
