A carefully chosen selection of images of all the major aircraft in the museum.
This retired Royal Australian Air Force F-111C A8-113 has been relocated from RAAF Amberley. Previously, the aircraft could have flown to Darwin in one hour, but instead completed the journey as a six day road trip – stopping overnight in Roma, Longreach, Mount Isa, Three Ways, and RAAF Base Tindal at Katherine before arrival in Darwin on Sunday June 16, 2013.
Some older pictures of reconstruction of aircraft.
An enthusiastic team of volunteers maintains the Museum and contributes significantly to its operations. In fact, the Museum would not exist without its volunteers members. Most of the volunteers work on restoring aircraft and engines for display. Others work in the Museum Library or on the websites.
